The Leader and Chairman of the Alliance Democratic Party (ADP) Mohamed K. Mansaray, on Friday 15th April 2016 in an interview told Salone Times that his party has presented their internal audit report to the Political Party Registration Commission.
The ADP leader stated that the auditing was done by Ramonic International Business Group Ltd. (RIG) a chartered auditing account group based in Sierra Leone. He added that the financial statement was approved by the National executive of the party on 8th April 2016, adding that the audited financial statement is for the period of 3rd July to 31st December 2015.
The 14 page audit report revealed that the contribution of the Chairman and leader of the party is rated at Le487, 500,000 (four hundred eighty seven million five hundred thousand Leones) and membership contribution at about Le43, 520,000 (forty three million five hundred and twenty thousand Leones) the estimate total amount is sum up to 531,020,000 (five hundred and thirty one million and twenty thousand Leones).
The direct expenses of the party showed 487,500,000 (four hundred eighty seven million five hundred thousand Leones) which administrative expenses showed 25, 520,000 (twenty five million five hundred twenty thousand Leones) and total expenses of 513, 020,000 (five hundred thirteen million and twenty thousand Leones). The party?s expenditure over income is at negative 18,000,000 (minus eighteen million Leones)
As of now, source revealed that four political parties in Sierra Leone have presented their audit reports to the political party registration commission while the remaining asked for more time to pile up theirs.
Section 20 of the political party registration commission act of 2002 talks about declaration of assets, accounts and audit of political party of which sub section 4 of the Act states that there shall be submitted by every political party to the commission within three months after the end of every year a declaration of it income, assets and liabilities together with its audited account.
