Algassimu Sahid Jarr Jr better known by stage name Shadow Boxxer. He was born and raised in Alexandre, Virginia in the late 80’s.

In the early 90’s, Shadow moved to Sierra Leone as a boy and returned to United States a decade later as a Man with a new perspective about life.

An individualist when it comes to his music, Shadow has a mass appeal that transcends culture, race and creed. His delivery , sound and lyrical content shows promises of a soon to be on of a kind, like that of 2Pac , Biggie and Lauren Hill. He’s a versatile rapper whose writing skills compete with the best in the business. His blend of African ( Sierra Leonean and American roots, is the foundation of his music and the style that he portrays.

Shadow uses striking melodies to draw listeners in to a new and very welcome voice of the Rap genre. He’s repping West African Family Entertainment(WAFent ) along with Blakka P, Jay Bo, Flame Diggi and more.

He credits KRS One, Naughty by Nature, Snoop Dogg, Jay Z, and Nas as the influences who helped him improve his ability to write hooks and create music into an art form deserving to be called “Master Piece.”

Shadow continues to do numerous performances in the DMV. His hit songs like Sunshine, My identification, I know, My City and many more hit DC/MD/VA area by storm.

Early 2014, his verses on Rhage’s “Antenna,” “Self made rmx” and his banger single “Confidential” featuring D’Banj of Nigeria and popular actor and artiste Edriss Elba brought him to limelight.

Late 2013, Shadow released another mixtape album titled “Love, Pain & Drugs” and it was a huge success for his career.
