Popular bike rider, Osman Bangura was on Saturday, 24th October, 2016, found dead at Congress road, Jalloh Terrace, Eastend Freetown.

Sources closed the late rider disclosed that 20 year old Osman left Freetown for Waterloo where he went to visit his mother who was ill.

Upon his return, he called the owner of the bike (OSD Personnel) to tell him about his mother’s status and was given the greenlight to use the bike until the evening hours to make his regular pay.

On Saturday afternoon, Osman’s body was found lying in an open space closed to the school compound with wound on his chest and his helmet on his head. Police later rushed to the scene hours after the body was found.

The corpse is currently at the mortuary awaiting postmortem.

Sources confirmed that the two culprits are currently in police custody with the stolen bike and the knife used to commit the crime.
