It was a case of double tragedy at the metropolitan area of Freetown as two electricity worker were reportedly electrocuted, on Friday afternoon, April 06, 2016.


The staff whose name could not be ascertain as of the time of filing this report, died while trying to fix a light issue within the area.

The ugly incident occurred at Wilkinson Road in Freetown.

One of the workers had gone up the pole first to fix a fault and he got electrocuted in the process. His partner went up to try help him out. He too was electrocuted.

Unconfirmed reports say a third worker was electrocuted. They are all workers of the Electricity Distribution and Supply Authority (EDSA) in Sierra Leone.
