The Sierra Leone politician on trial on charges of bigamy has vowed to push on with his presidential ambition.

Alie Kabba-Sierraloaded

Alie Kabba said Wednesday that his experience in detention has strengthened his resolve to pursue his presidential ambition.

Kabba is on trial over his botched relationship with Local Government Minister Diana Konomanyi. He was released on bail on Tuesday after six days at the maximum security prison in Freetown.

The politician said his experience notwithstanding, it did not compare to what he saw mostly young Sierra Leoneans going through. He said young boys were jailed along with adults.
