Sierra Leone born UK based rapper Michael Kamara known to fans as Mikar-The-Vipar looks almost certain to debut in the top 20 of the iTunes world chart.
Even though fans have to wait four months before its official release, that has not deterred them from supporting their local hero. Mikar 24, who grew up and still lives in the impoverished area of Pond Park,Chesham in England’s richest region of Buckinghamshire has had three charting singles and last August became the first Bucks artist to top the iTunes world chart.
His continuous rise is unheard of as unsigned acts like Mikar rarely accumulate high sales, yet alone enter the charts without mainstream or corporate support.
The charming star rarely do any shows to promote his music and still only has one music video on YouTube but his continuous engagement with fans has helped him sustain his popularity and has amassed thousands of fans and female admirers on social media.
