Tees Shopping Center, which is being described as the first indigenous Shopping Center in the country has been officially opened by the Special Adviser to the President and Ambassador at Large on behalf of the President.
The Shopping Center which was declared open last Friday has among other things seven departments; bakery, boutique, barbing shop, Massage Section, Gym and Pharmacy.
Opening the Shopping Center on behalf of the President, the Special Adviser to the President, Alhaji Alpha Khanu congratulated Musa Tarawallie and his wife for such development.
He said that Government will not be able to employ everyone as the jobs in government are not enough, adding that such a venture like the one by Musa Tarawallie will be able to solve some of the unemployment problems.
He said that Musa Tarawallie has moved away from being a politician to an entrepreneur where he was before the President called him to serve in his Government.
Mrs Tarawallie explained that she and her husband have been in such a business for the past ten years and they have invested hugely in the shopping center.
She furthered that they are grateful to President Koroma for creating the enabling environment for them to do their business
Musa Tarawallie was Minister of State Southern Region, Minister of Internal Affairs and until recently when he was relieved by the President was Minister of Lands, Country Planning and the Environment.
