In the presence of Paramount Chief Ngobu Kla Kallon II and community members Sahr Mokuwa the President of the APC Youth League Eastern Region dish out 100 scholarships to student from various schools in the Chiefdom.
Part of Sahr Mokuwa’s conviction is rooted in President Koroma’s aspirations. Words alone cannot meet the needs of our people. These needs will be met only if we act. He do have an unyielding belief that all people yearn for certain things: the ability to educate themselves.
Sahr Mokuwa recognize he have responsibilities to his community. To play a role in fulfilling the President Koroma aspirations for better education in Sierra Leone. To unify the Kailahun people. Sahr Mokuwa said all of the community people must recognize that education and innovation will be the currency of the 21st century, and in too many communities there remains underinvestment in these areas.
The community people, judging from the statement made during the event are confident that Sahr Mokuwa will continue to give from his little savings, from his talents, a high measure of support and empowerment.
He want to do better in education. And I think President Koroma want to do better. Sahr Mokuwa is poised at bringing the Agenda For Prosperity to the people of Kailahun District. By Momodu Jalloh
