Sources close to the RFM team has hinted Sierraloaded that Nigerian Dancehall singer, Timaya has turned down LAJ’s request to feature him in his upcoming album.

Timaya-LAJ

The ‘money na bank’ crooner who is currently working on his TOS3 album is seen to have been pursing a lot of collaborations with Nigerian singers lately.

It is interesting to know that LAJ had in his previous song titled ‘am not guilty’ berated the Sierra Leonean artistes that had featured Nigerian artistes.

His outburst came at the time he was detained at Freetown’s maximum prison after it was alleged he drove in a riotous conduct, which led to the killing of three people. The rapper’s song also came about at the time Emmerson had featured a Nigerian artiste, Timaya.

It was said that LAJ’s outburst was out of frustration because Emmerson refused to be featured by him.

It has now emerged that the RFM rapper has ran to the Nigerian artistes for his career to be resuscitated. They have been sharing on their social media pages of LAJ, featuring Ice Prince in a song and possibly Davido. A video shoot of Davido is also expected.

Sources further hinted Sierraloaded that LAJ has sought to feature a third Nigerian Artiste, Timaya – funnily, the same artiste Emerson featured which made LAJ to take offence.

It is still unclear why Timaya might have rejected the collaboration. However, Sierraloaded learnt that Timaya’s relationship with Emmerson (who isn’t friendly with LAJ) and the fact  that L.A.J was just released from jail might have fostered the decision.
